Forsaken Compound

General Hints

• There's two reasons for playing through this level without much interruption:
• 1) The shotgun from secret 1 in the previous level is only available in the second area of this level, so 'till there, you have a lot of extra work if you start this as a "Custom Level".
• 2) There seems to be a bug in the game that forced me to restart this level twice: I had the impression that in case you save a game after passing through a gate and before the next wave of enemies has spawned, and try to continue from that point by loading it at a later time, it happened to me that the first set of enemies after the gate didn't spawn and then the next gate didn't open, so I could not continue the level beyond that closed gate.

Secrets 1 and 2 - Serious Bomb and Armor

After passing the first gate, turn right. Behind all the blocks, you find a serious bomb (right mark). To get the secret armor on top of the containers, you have to do some climbing (left mark).

Secret 3 - Secret crocodile horn II (tm)

Some steps further, in the water, find the Secret crocodile horn II (tm). Then, step back for the hounds.

Secret 4 - Secret Health via secret jump pad

After passing the next gate, find a jump pad to your right. It ports you to a little island that contains a secret health pack.

Secrets 5 to 8- Parts of Duke

Follow the little islands in the last area to the skeleton of the old duke that will never come - forever! Find in order the sword, the suit, a hat and the skeleton. I missed the hat at first, but thanks to shun and to Bernd, this is now confirmed!
